Towards a better future

Season’s greetings, dear readers!
In arctic Scandinavia, the darkest time of the year is endured by lighting great numbers of candles, inside the house as well as outside. While frosty temperatures freeze lakes, forests, and grounds, our focus, quite naturally, turns more inwards, towards what is truly important and what we really want to achieve in life.

We find comfort in the thought that darkness will again give way to light, and with renewed strength and certainty, we will step out into the world of growth and sunlight, and a thousand possibilities.

Although we know there always comes a spring, these times are hard on us all and it is important that we maintain ourselves, as well as our business.

Now we have the time to look closely at what we are doing, and how we are doing it. We can fine-tune our products, technology, and development processes. What already seems perfect can always be made that little bit better. Premium quality is our way of working and as the market leader, we cannot compromise on our quality standards—whatever is done must be done properly.

The market may seem almost paralyzed, but now it is more important than ever to maintain achieved lines and set standards. Sharing knowledge is a way of life, a way of working. Process innovations create new business and lifelong cooperation with partners and customers increases competitiveness.

We would very much appreciate hearing your opinions and views: How are you doing? What are you doing? What do you need? If you have something particular on your mind, let us know about it and we may write an article on the subject. At conreteissues.com, you can write down your comments and suggestions, and they are sure to reach us.

There is a lot to look forward to. Do not forget, 2010 is the year of Bauma. With us, your seat is in the front row. Design, intelligence, and innovation are the building blocks of the future. If we focus our attention on these together, we will be prepared when the new market grows. Soon, we will once again be riding high.

In this spirit, we wish you all a peaceful and enjoyable end-of-the-year season and a Prosperous New Year 2010!
